Thrall's Escape

Blizzard's games, art, story, and characters inspire me constantly.

In the past I read the book, Lord of the Clans. The story is about a character named Thrall, escaping his human masters to become a powerful leader of the orcs.

This scene portrays Thrall escaping while archers shoot at him.

The modeling was done in Maya then brought over to Zbrush.
The rendering was done in Mental Ray, using the SSS shaders with my hand painted textures. Thanks to a bunch of people for helping me out with this one. It was a great learning experience!
Shameless plug: I'm currently seeking a full time position as a character modeler. =P http://www.digiegg.com

The renders didn't come out as well as I expected so This is what I'm posting up for now. I used nurbs, curves, to model the car then converted to polygons for the renders.
